While running a natural food store based on a grain-based diet, which has been passed down through generations, and also managing a natural farming operation, I regularly host plant-based macrobiotic cooking classes for vegans and vegetarians, as well as meditation yoga instruction.
We host yoga (fasting) camps, semi-fasting sand bath seminars, and undertake civil engineering and construction projects such as the restoration and renovation of old houses and cultural properties, underground environment improvement, forestry landscaping, and tree-cutting and tree-planting, as well as moving and junk collection, all based on a comprehensive, space-recycling business philosophy based on a “cosmobiotic” approach that expands on the macro approach. As a side business, I manage auto campgrounds throughout Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, and Shizuoka. I am also a certified automobile and industrial vehicle mechanic (former inspector), have completed gas and arc welding training, and currently drive various heavy machinery, large vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles with Class 2 licenses (for Blacklane, Uber, etc.).
We are currently recruiting live-in and commuter staff, as well as short- and long-term trial residents, for our vegan cosmobiotic community, Meguri no Ie, a natural farming base in Togane City, Chiba Prefecture.

As a practitioner of macrobiotic yoga (“broad perspective and thinking” and “connection, harmony, and fusion”), I have worked for many years while taking over the family business to be able to respond to consultations beyond just health.
To date, I have moved bases mainly in eastern Japan every two years on average, continuing to work at macrobiotic yoga locations managed at other locations while consciously gaining a wealth of work experience and valuable learning experiences as an independent, self-employed instructor without belonging to any organization. In various ways, I have experienced the Yin-Yang theory and the human nature of “Shindo-Futsu” (body and earth) that are influenced by the local community and climate.
As one of the ignorant macrobiotic practitioners, I understand that there are many things in nature that humans cannot do and the few things we can do, and I strive to explain in an easy-to-understand manner the simple essence of the unparalleled principle, which requires little in the way of loving and healing the Earth, the source of life phenomena that provides us with good quality air, water, and food free of charge. It also requires little in the way of qualifications such as doctors or lawyers, excessive insurance and social welfare systems, or discriminatory views based on nationality or race.
We strive to broaden the scope of our own awareness of this world in which we have been given life and are being sustained, to the extent possible that the framework encompasses both yin and yang consciousness, and to explain in an easy-to-understand manner the meaning of “life is God” in the context of modern society where material economy is prioritized. We are also fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from pioneers of various generations who wish to stay and live with us, and we share the benefits of the natural environment while learning about our shared lifestyle.
