Founder and CEO
Born September 19, 1953
Thanks to an introduction from Chuya Hashimoto & Chiaki, and Mr. Isogai, I have been invited to join the Macrobiotic Wanokai.
I visit Japan two to three times a year to hold business meetings with Japanese producers of our products.
I hope to continue contributing to the international spread of macrobiotics while supporting Japan’s organic, natural farming, which is the foundation of world peace and the distribution of 100% vegan and organic food.
Thank you for your continued support.
“In 1972, as a young law student in New Zealand, I began to question the potential dangers that the transformation of agriculture – endless deforestation, monoculture and the mass production of cheap, inferior food – posed to future generations. This was the start of a 50-year journey that, in 1993, led to Clearspring being what it is today – offering an unparalleled variety of organic, sustainably produced, high-quality food from Japan and Europe that is loved the world over. This range is constantly expanding in line with European market trends. I am fortunate to have been a part of building Clearspring for my children’s future, and to have been able to convert every acre of farmland to organic farming in their journey.”
